Are you ready to train with the pros? If so, the PLL Academy Boys Positional Specific & Situational Play Clinics at Matthews Sportsplex will give you an inside look at how the pros train.

These clinics will be run by the below PLL players and Coaches 

Reece Eddy: Archers LC LSM, Finalist for Brodie Merrill PLL LSM of the Year award, All-American while at BU, BU's All Time Single Season Leader in Caused Turnovers, Second Team All-MAAC while at Canisius, selected 9th overall in the 2020 PLL College Lacrosse Draft.

Todd MacFarlane: Redwoods Assistant Coach, former assistant coach at Maryland and UPenn, United States Marine Corp Veteran, attended Pfeiffer University where he was Team MVP, All-Conference and All-Academic Teams

What you can expect from these advanced Pro style training sessions. The day will start off with a dynamic warm up which will lead into the following: 

-Goalies warm up & Offensive and Defensive Stick Skills and Drills

-Offensive and Defensive Positional Specific Work

-Situational, Small Sided and Even and Uneven Group Play

-Summary of Training and Autograph Session

Positional Areas of Focus

Attack & Midfield shooting, dodging, footwork, vision, playing with and without the ball, understanding spacing, being efficient with the ball, picks, 2-man game, and much more.

Defense Footwork, approaches, angles, defending picks, communication, on ball and off ball play, stick work, shooting, stick protection, and much more.

Goalie clearing, outlook patterns, footwork, passing, eye hand coordination, playing the inside shot and outside shots, angles, and much more.

Grad Year Training Time Slots:

• 12:30pm - 2:30pm (2027, 2028 & 2029)
• 3:00pm - 5:00pm (2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026)

Pricing: $150 for each scheduled training session group

Refund Policy: This event follows standard PLL Academy refund policy which is stated below:

1) Less than 72 hours after signup - Full refund less 3% Transactional Fee
2) More than 7 days prior to the event - 50% Refund or site credit in full
3) Less than 7 days prior to the event - 20% refund or site credit in full
